Machanka (Belarus. Machanka or machanka, Ukr. Machanka) – dairy or meat dish Belarusian and Ukrainian cuisine.
Machanka pork prepared usually from different trimmings (what is left after cooking other dishes): smoked, salted, bacon, ham, sausage, scraps of bone and so on. Therefore Machanka cut the meat into very small pieces. Other components Machanka – sauce, flour, water. From spices add the onion, mushrooms, dill, pepper less.
When Machanka prepared as a separate dish, then you can add it in a variety of ingredients: boiled and finely chopped potatoes, cabbage, turnips. Side dish can be served separately and then baked vegetables and served whole or in large pieces.
Often Machanka served with pancakes.

Ingredients:

The simplest shkvarkovaya, which is prepared from the sauce with bacon, seasoned flour and dilute with water, onion and pepper.

  • 200 g sausages.
  • 300 g pork.
  • 100 g onion.
  • 60 g parsley root.
  • 100 g sour cream.
  • 40 g butter.
  • Salt.
  • 20 g flour.

Method:

  • Braise chopped meat and sausages for 5-10 minutes, then, having added some water, stew on low heat.
  • Take out meat and sausages and set aside.
  • Add chopped fried onion and chopped parsley to the broth and bring to boil.
  • Add meat to the broth and put in the oven for 15 minutes.
