Sour-sweet Fish will look great on any table.
Ingredients for preparing Sour-sweet Fish:
Besides that, it can be served hot or cold as well.
- 6 ea pike slices.
- 2 ea onion finely sliced.
- 2 ea lemons sliced.
- 1/2 tb raisins.
- 1/2 tb brown sugar.
- 2 ts salt.
- 1/2 ts ginger.
- 1/3 c wine vinegar.
- 1/3 c almonds chopped.
- 1 ea bay leaf.
Method:
- Put lemon, brown sugar, raisins, bay leaf and fish in a pan, cover and cook on low heat for 25 minutes.
- Take out the fish on the dish and add ginger, vinegar, almonds to the broth and cook for a while, stirring constantly.
- Pour this sauce over the fish.
