Ingredients for preparing Sour-sweet Fish:

Besides that, it can be served hot or cold as well.

  • 6 ea pike slices.
  • 2 ea onion finely sliced.
  • 2 ea lemons sliced.
  • 1/2 tb raisins.
  • 1/2 tb brown sugar.
  • 2 ts salt.
  • 1/2 ts ginger.
  • 1/3 c wine vinegar.
  • 1/3 c almonds chopped.
  • 1 ea bay leaf.

Method:

  • Put lemon, brown sugar, raisins, bay leaf and fish in a pan, cover and cook on low heat for 25 minutes.
  • Take out the fish on the dish and add ginger, vinegar, almonds to the broth and cook for a while, stirring constantly.
  • Pour this sauce over the fish.
